"치어리딩 하나로, 한국 알렸다!"

국제농구연맹(FIBA) 공식 인증 대회인 '2019동아시아슈퍼리그-터리픽12(East Asia Super League - The Terrific 12)'가 지난 17일부터 22일가지 마카오 탑섹 멀티스포츠 파빌리온센터에서 개최된 가운데 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터가 '강원대 치어리딩'을 전 세계에 알려 눈길을 끌고 있다.

이번 대회는 마카오 특별행정구 정부 스포츠국과 함께 아시아의 농구 수준을 높이기 위한 대회로 중국 프로농구리그(CBA) 3팀, 일본B.리그(B.LEAGUE) 4팀, 필리핀 프로농구리그(PBA) 3팀 그리고 한국 프로농구연맹(KBL)에서 SK나이츠와 전주 KCC이지스 두 팀이 참가했다.

아시아의 4개 국가가 농구로 격돌한 이번 대회에 눈에 띤 것은 강원대학교(총장 김헌영)KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터(센터장 김진국) 교육생들이 대회에 참가해 큰 인기를 얻었고, 그동안 갈고 닦은 매력을 한 껏 뽐내며 경기장 분위기를 압도했다.

이번 대회 치어리딩 공식 응원팀인 '트림팀 치어리더'도 대회 분위기를 압도, 한국 경기 뿐 아니라 16경기에 모두 참여해 관중들로부터 큰 박수갈채를 받았다.

이와함께, 강원대 스포츠레저학과 학생들은 KNU Cheer’s 라는 팀명을 갖고 경기장에서 선수들과 관중들을 위해 호흡을 같이하며 대회 분위기를 한 껏 높였다.

현지 인솔자인 신수용 교수(강원대 삼척캠퍼스)를 필두로 함종민, 이성현, 노원석, 안해규 교육생들이 스턴트 부문으로 참가하면서 마카오 탑섹 멀티스포츠 파빌리온센터는 관중들의 환호로 가득했다.

NBA 출신부터 아시아 최고 스타들이 총출동한 이번 대회를 통해 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터 교육생들은 선수.관중들과 함께 움직이며 다양한 볼거리를 펼쳤고 대회 전체 분위기를 높이는데 큰 역할을 했다는 평이다.

특히, '아시아판 NBA'로 불리며 올해로 6회째를 맞은 '2019동아시아슈퍼리그-터리픽12'에 참가한 강원대학교 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터 교육생들의 인기는 연일 이어졌다.

경기장에 모인 관중들을 비롯해 현지 학생들과 관중들은 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터 교육생들과 함께 사진 촬영을 하는 등 대회 전반적으로 높은 인기를 얻어내며 그 인기를 실감케했다.

이번 2019동아시아슈퍼리그-터리픽12에 참가한 함종민 교육생은 "국제대회에 처음 나섰지만 치어리딩으로 관중들과 선수들이 하나가 돼 경기를 진행했다는 것이 기쁘다"며 "그동안 갈고 닦은 기량을 선보이게 해 준 분들께 깊은 감사를 드리며 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터가 강원도 뿐 아니라 대한민국 전역에 치어리딩을 전파하는 중심센터가 될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

특히, 대회 경기 운영과 조직력, 수준 높은 선수들과 함께 국제대회로 손색이 없었던 '2019동아시아슈퍼리그-터리픽12'에 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터 교육생들이 참가하면서 국위선양은 물론, 한국 치어리딩의 수준높은 매력을 다시 한번 발산하는 계기가 됐다.

또, 이번 대회는 스탭팀과 운영팀, 경기 관계자 등 모든 조합이 잘 이뤄진 국제대회로 전 세계에 유튜브로 생중계되면서 KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터 교육생들의 대회 참가는 글로벌마인드를 확장할 기회를 가졌다는데 큰 의미를 주고 있다.

한편, KNU치어리딩 아카데미 센터는 문화체육관광부와 삼척시가 재정후원하는 교육기관이며 시·도 관내 행사를 넘어 국제적 행사 참여를 시작으로 '치어리딩'과 강원대학교, 삼척시를 알리는데 큰 역할을 하고 있다.

What made the four Asian countries stand out in this year's basketball competition was that students from Kangwon National University (president Kim Heon-young) and the KNU Cheering Academy Center (center director Kim Jin-guk) participated in the competition, gaining huge popularity, and dominated the atmosphere of the stadium by showing the charm that they have been honing.

The "Trim Team Cheerios," the official cheerleading cheering squad for the event, also overwhelmed the atmosphere of the competition, participating in all 16 matches as well as Korean matches, drawing huge applause from the crowd.

At the same time, students of Kangwon National University's department of sports and leisure had a team name of KNU Cheer's and worked together for the players and spectators on the field to boost the atmosphere of the competition.

本次比赛是澳门特别行政区政府体育局为提高亚洲篮球水平而举办的,中国职业篮球联赛(CBA)3队,日本B.LAGUE联赛(B.LEAGUE)4队,菲律宾职业篮球联赛(PBA)3队。

亚洲的4个国家通过篮球展开对决的此次大赛上,江原大学(校长金宪永)和KNU啦啦队学院中心(中心负责人金镇国)的学生们参加了比赛,获得了超高人气,期间一直在练习。

本次大赛的拉拉队"Tream队啦啦队"也压倒了大赛的气氛,不仅在韩国比赛,还参加了16场比赛,赢得了观众的热烈掌声。

与此同时,江原大学体育休闲系的学生们以"KNU Cheer's"的队名,在赛场上为选手们和观众进行互动,将大赛氛围推向高潮。

以当地领队辛洙容教授(江原大学三陟校区)为首,咸钟民,李成贤,卢元锡,安海圭等教育生作为替身部门参加,澳门塔赛的多功能体育中心。

通过从NBA出身到亚洲顶级明星总动员的此次大赛,KNU拉拉队学院中心教育生都是选手。评价认为,与观众一起行动,展示了多样的看点,对提高大赛整体气氛起到了很大的作用。
